Find Your Perfect Fit

Finding the right ring size shouldn't be complicated. Use our guide below to find your best fit before placing your order.

How to Find Your Ring Size

Option 1 — Measure a Ring You Already Own

The easiest and most reliable method at home is to use a ring that already fits the finger you plan to wear your new CLAIM ring on.

  1. Choose a ring that fits comfortably.
  2. Place it on a flat surface.
  3. Using a ruler, measure the inside diameter of the ring from one inside edge to the other.
  4. Measure across the widest point, directly through the centre of the ring.
  5. Record the measurement in millimetres (mm).
  6. Compare your measurement with our size chart below.

Important: Measure the inside of the ring only — don't include the thickness of the metal.

If your measurement falls between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

Option 2 — Measure Your Finger

Don't have a ring to measure? You can estimate your size using a thin strip of paper.

  1. Wrap a narrow strip of paper around the base of the finger where you'll wear your ring.
  2. Make sure it sits comfortably against your skin without being too tight.
  3. Mark the point where the paper overlaps.
  4. Lay the paper flat and measure the length to the mark in millimetres.
  5. This measurement is the approximate circumference of your finger.
  6. Compare it with the circumference measurements in our size chart.

For the most accurate result, we recommend using an existing ring or having your finger professionally measured where possible.

Getting the Best Measurement

Your fingers naturally change size slightly throughout the day, so when you measure can make a difference.

For the best result:

  • Measure your finger when your hands are at a comfortable, normal temperature.
  • Avoid measuring immediately after exercise or when your hands are particularly hot or cold.
  • Measure more than once to check your result.
  • Make sure your chosen size can comfortably pass over your knuckle.
  • Measure the exact finger you intend to wear the ring on — the same finger on opposite hands can be different sizes.

Between Two Sizes?

If you're between sizes, choosing the larger size will usually provide a more comfortable fit.

The width and design of a ring can also affect how it feels. Wider bands can feel slightly tighter than thinner, more delicate styles.

Buying a Ring as a Gift?

If you're trying to keep it a surprise, borrowing a ring they already wear is usually your best option.

Make sure the ring is worn on the same finger and hand that you're buying for, then measure its internal diameter and compare it with our size chart.
